Job Description Summary

The Global Social Media & Content Lead will own GE HealthCare’s organic social media strategy, editorial calendar, community management and bring our brand to life every day through our social media ecosystem (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). This person has big vision while being eager to work cross-functionally and ensure each piece of content goes out on time with the highest quality and our audience in mind. They are masters at taking recommendations from inside the business to develop social media content while also ideating creative social media campaigns and delivering the execution. They are fluent in social media trends and B2B social marketing and know how to develop brand-aligned creative and copy that grows our long-term followers. They know how to tell a great story and tap into data and reporting trends to propel GEHC’s brand narrative, purpose and thought leadership position forward.

To be impactful in this role, you must be able to work in regulated, matrixed operating environments, manage numerous stakeholders and approval processes, and adapt quickly to deliver the right content to the right audience at the right time – helping our brand win hearts and minds. This person will be expected to work closely with agency partners to manage content pipelines, budgets, and optimize and continuously innovate on our channels.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the social media strategy and editorial calendar for GE HealthCare’s corporate social media channels (@GEHealthCare), including building recommendations and social media plans and recommendations for strategic initiatives in key markets

  • Ensure continued management of brand safety and community management programs

  • Building and maintaining relationships across GE Healthcare Marketing, Communications, Regions to educate, develop and champion media best practices, trends, and efficiencies

  • Managing internal stakeholders, agency partners, and creative talent and partners s to develop editorial content and programming for corporate social media channels and ecosystems

  • Drive creation of innovative social media content and campaigns that support brand creative, thought leadership, and key business and product priorities. Ensure all social media content delivers on our brand identity, tone of voice and purpose

  • Lead annual updates of social media training and compliance guidelines in collaboration with internal communications and the legal and regulatory teams

  • Project management of program timelines, social media updates, and monthly and quarterly analytics and reporting

  • Management of influencer marketing campaigns in partnership with agency, providing recommendations on influencers and evaluating risks/benefits

  • Elevating actionable insights and ideas based on cultural, media, and business trends with recommended budget and investment levels needed to support

  • Has a critical eye to evaluate creative content, whether it is visual or editorial

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience of social media marketing and content creation, digital marketing strategy experience within marketing, brand, corporate communications, or agency environments

  • Proven experience with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram content creation, channel management. Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

  • Experience developing social media metric dashboards and making performance recommendations based on results and engagement

  • Experience in editorial writing, editing and publishing to recommend headline, social copy, image or video assets, and other tests across target personas to improve engagement

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience in driving legal and regulatory content reviews and adjustments, including the use of content review software systems (Veeva PromoMats) and content management platforms (Welcome)

  • Full proficiency in English, which is the working language

  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • Preferred: B2B marketing and/or healthcare/medtech industry experience desired

The salary range for this position is 92K - 138K Base. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
