Description:
EL1 instructors are responsible for developing and delivering top-level instruction for youth athletes ranging from beginner to advanced and in various instructional programs. We are seeking softball instructors and coaches for our Conshohocken facility.
EL1 is the proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-turf Softball Powered By team training and instruction
- Assist in preparation and set up of facility and equipment at start and end of training
- Perform skill-specific instruction in our facilities and at fields in and around the community
- Build and maintain relationships with athletes, families, and coaches in the community
- Collaborate and co-instruct with other skill-specific instructors
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and events
- Knowledge of Softball with a broad range of skills
- Strong organizational, planning, & communication skills
- Ability to set up, tear down, and move around equipment
- Patience to maintain meaningful relationships with players, parents & coaches
- Willingness and ability to support all areas of instruction
- Supportive and encouraging mindset and attitude
- Experience playing Softball at the College level preferred
- Experience as an instructor is beneficial
