About the Role:
An integral member of the America’s Sourcing Team, the Sourcing Specialist will drive end-to-end execution of sourcing events for operational spend (e.g. spend between $50K - $250K) in multiple spend categories within Indirect Sourcing, including but not limited to, Capital Equipment, Facilities, MRO and Professional Services The Sourcing Specialist will provide excellent customer service to the supported Businesses, Sites, and Regions. The Sourcing Specialist reports to the Regional Sourcing Manager.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
• Contract Management, including: development, review and approval, business term negotiations and utilizing Boston Scientific Legal when appropriate
• Supplier Management, including: analysis (financials and capabilities), selection, support suppliers by resolving inquiries and disputes, and negotiate favorable payment terms
• Execute Sourcing events from End-to-End, including: analyzing spend data to identify savings opportunities, identify stakeholders and drive stakeholder alignment goals, develop sourcing event documentation, proposal review and analysis, price negotiation to obtain best value and contract development
• Educate internal stakeholders on Boston Scientific Sourcing and Financial policies
• Maintain Boston Scientific Quality standards
• Achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targets

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Sourcing for the Sr. Sourcing Specialist
• 3 years of Sourcing experience for the Sourcing Specialist II
• Working knowledge of Procurement end-to-end process
• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba
• MS Excel and PowerPoint
