Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with NJDOE certification as a Speech Language Specialist and ASHA CCC certification to join our team. The SLP will work with students who have communication disorders and will provide therapeutic services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs). The SLP will also collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and effective treatment plan for each student.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders, including individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., teachers, social workers, occupational therapists) to ensure a comprehensive and effective treatment plan for each student.
• Schedule students for therapy sessions
• Monitor and document progress of students receiving speech and language services.
• Participate in meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of speech and language services provided to students.
• Write summaries of performance for annual review meetings and develop goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• NJDOE certification as a Speech Language Specialist.
• ASHA CCC certification.
• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in a school setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
