Job Description: Blazerworks is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2023/2024 school year in La Porte, IN. In this role, you will work with students in a school setting to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to provide individualized services and support for each student.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each student
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to provide comprehensive support for each student
- Monitor and track student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Attend and participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-related activities
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Indiana State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (or eligible for certification)
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
