Sr Analyst, Business Mgmt Job at LPL Financial
LPL Financial is looking for a Senior Analyst for the Service and Supervision organization to represent the needs and voice of business stakeholders on large technology and process transformation initiatives. In this role, you will work with the stakeholders and project team to thoroughly understand the business needs and objectives of an initiative from an advisor, management and back office user perspective. You will also collaborate on process improvement opportunities, offer alternative view points and ask challenging questions to discover and document the correct requirements. Through this process you will gain SME level knowledge allowing you to represent the business perspective to the technology team to ensure the solution delivered will satisfy the business need.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in requirements elicitation and management on medium to large-sized projects.
- Conduct critical analysis and synthesis finding, including current state and root cause analysis, process improvement recommendations
- Identify downstream impacts and risks; works with project manager to mitigate.
- Effectively collaborate with Business, Technology, Product and Vendor Partners at all levels
- Prepare clear and concise documentation
- Challenge the status quo, offer alternative viewpoints to understand the business need and discover the correct requirement.
- Assist in UAT knowledge transfer and defect reviews.
- Support product implementation, collaborate on rollout strategy and facilitate user onboarding
- Actively participate in troubleshooting
- Perform product owner and project manager duties as needed
Requirements (years of experience needed):
- Highly adaptable team player; comfortable with fast paced, changing environment and ambiguity; goal oriented and self-motivated
- Experience working with project or agile teams
- Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical skills to maximize problem solving
- Ability to work closely with others to understand complex subject matter and technologies
- Inquisitive mindset; asks probing questions and challenges current ideals in pursuit of opportunities to improve process/procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with the MS Office, JIRA, Service Center tools such as MS Dynamics
Preferences:
- Four-year college degree, analytic discipline a plus
- Financial Services or Banking experience
- Customer service experience
- Professional certifications such as SEI, POPM, CBAP, PMI-PBA and Lean Six Sigma Green belt
Pay Range:
The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
