UnspecifiedWe are looking to hire a Sr. Analyst, QMS Compliance professional to join our Cheshire, CT team. This position is for a high performing individual as a Quality project engineer, who will manage QMS compliance, projects, and/or processes to ensure overall quality performance improves across the Cheshire site. This role will regularly communicate with the cross functional leadership team within Cheshire and is seen as a senior role within the quality function.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate Regulatory Compliance Self-Assessments and External Customer and Regulatory Audits
AS9100/ISO9001 Compliance and Certification Leadership
Assist in data collection and analytics of major and minor findings as well as observations for improvement in both regulatory and customer audits
Assist in the creation of root cause and corrective actions across the site
Host and drive improvements from the corrective action review board
Initiate and analyze data from layered process assessments as well as regular internal business process assessments to measure the “health” of the business in between audit cycles
Communicate with site and quality leadership

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
AS9100 Quality Management Systems lead audit
Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
Coachable and willing to be fully engaged in all aspects of Quality principles and activities
Must be a dedicated professional committed to providing a positive example, developing a positive culture and completing work on an agreed upon schedules
Proactive approach to problem solving
Ability to work with minimal direction
Must have flexible work schedule and may be required to work on off-hours and weekends
Thorough knowledge of Collins policies, instructions and guidelines
