The Role at a glance:
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join Elior North America’s corporate team and work in a remote capacity. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical support in key planning and analysis tools to aid business growth, decision-making, and achievement of financial commitments across all Business Units.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans and modeling tools
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses and capital expenditures
- Participate in special projects, including business development opportunities and cross-finance improvement initiatives
- Work with other areas of the organization to implement improvements/change
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Provide Business Unit leaders with financial analysis to drive decision making including project costing, profitability, productivity analysis, and return on investment
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
- Support Business Unit leaders with in-depth analysis to communicate key business trends and highlight key opportunities for growth and operational improvements
- Work closely with finance teams to prepare regular budgets for programs and work plans underlying key collaboration agreements and regular budget-to-actual reporting
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in financial accounting systems (i.e., general ledger, fixed assets, sales tax reporting)
- Ability to interpret information into what it means for our team/purposes and determine appropriate next steps
- Must have 2-5 years relevant experience and progressive growth in financial roles
- Must have advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel
- Must have the ability to research and resolve data
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; interact with all levels of management, employees and clients
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Nice-to-haves:
- CPA license.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
- Power BI
- SQL
