The Role:
The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will be responsible for all product marketing activities related to AMD/Xilinx’s flagship FPGA design software. This includes outbound marketing strategy, sales and customer marketing collateral development and all promotional activities.
The Person:
The ideal person will be a self-starter with strong business acumen, and excellent communications skills, this position entails a significant level of influence internally with other technology and marketing groups. The position requires technical command, experience, and insights to develop and nurture Xilinx products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include managing all aspects of new product introduction both internally with all factory stakeholders and externally by interfacing directly with customers and sales teams worldwide.
- This individual possesses unwavering customer focus, critical thinking capabilities, and excellent communication skills both written and oral. It is also critically important that the candidate can connect with the customers to understand and champion the user experience.
- The candidate must have the ability to understand complex EDA tool flows and explain it to sales and customers. Must drive the marketing collateral for each SW release and as needed to explain the capabilities of the software. Prior experience with FPGA product marketing, EDA marketing and with organizing effective outbound marketing campaigns world-wide is very important.

- Prior experience with FPGA product marketing
- Experience with cross functional teams
Academic Credentials:
- Ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree, Master’s Degree a plus.
- Up to 25 % travel

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
