Employee Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 4-10 technicians, supporting manufacturing & laboratory operations to develop and produce medicines that contribute to healthier and safer lives.

• Ensure team is meeting client expectations and performing in compliance with cGMP policies and SOPs in a production environment

• Participate in lean lab operation, 6S laboratory layout, preventive action, and continuous improvement programs to reduce operating costs
• Ensure scheduling and coverage
• Ensure coverage as needed to meet client schedules, including weekend, holiday, and overtime
• Work within the manufacturing and laboratory areas performing a variety of cleanroom service duties to maintain, stock, and sterilize the manufacturing suite and laboratory equipment.
• Ensure all clean room areas and equipment are clean, disinfected and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
• Ensure supplies are prepared, organized, and stocked to support operations
• Provide on the job training and day-to-day guidance to staff under supervision.
• Routine Calibration of Laboratory equipment
• Assisting laboratory and manufacturing personnel as required.
• Follow all procedures and keep detailed records and ensure accurate and legible documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Experience with Good manufacturing practices in a cleanroom environment
• Ability to perform and train sterile aseptic technique
• Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to learn procedures and to use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking
• Ability to wear safety and protective gear including scrubs, lab coat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, protective shoes in a manufacturing environmental
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role
• Leadership in a dynamic team environment
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent
• Reliable, hardworking team player
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• Ability to pass a full physical including a respiratory certification, with annual monitoring, as well as a drug test to work in a manufacturing environment
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
