Job Summary and Qualifications: Sterile Tech PRN shifts

As the Central Sterile Technician you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs.
• You will use microbiology, instrumentation and hand cleaning techniques of equipment and machines.
• You will print appropriate doctors preference list, assemble case cart and fill requisitions.
• You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments.

• You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.

What qualifications you will need:

• Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred.
• CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.
• Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred.

• Prior experience is not required, but is preferred.
  

• This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
