The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator helps with the administration of the day-to-day operations of a company's human resources department. The HR department oversees employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, hiring, and training.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the on-site HR touchstone for all in-store employees
  • Handle and traffic all HR related issues that arise in the store
  • Help facilitate new hire onboarding for new employees, collecting/ preparing all new hire documents following established company procedures.
  • Work in close partnership with HRBPs and GMs to be a credible activist for all store-based employee programs
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, and standards
  • Support and partner effectively with HRBPs and HR specialist groups i.e.: Learning & Development, Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll to ensure employee inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with the greater HR team and GM to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions
  • Ability to pull reports and provide context related to people metrics i.e.: turnover reports
  • Support any other special projects as needed
  • Support in store candidate visits and follow-up with hiring managers and recruiters on a timely basis
  • Responsible for timely communication to necessary partners of all new hire offers, employee off-boarding, leaves and/or any other significant employee actions
  • Responsible for initiating and tracking background checks and drug screenings to ensure a tighter turnaround
  • Support all in-store employees and managers with any Paycom troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year’s work experience, preferably in HR and retail environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong PC Skills, comfortable with multiple software systems
  • Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for team
  • Works independently as well as in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
