We are currently seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager. The Strategic Marketing Manager (SAM) is a member of the US Marketing team and works cross functionally with portfolio marketing leaders, local product concepts teams, finance, platform and commercial launch managers to define and deliver on key program stage gates and goals prior to product launches. The role serves as a critical component of driving the Corteva Agriscience program management signature process, ensuring consistency of program development, leveraging of tools and entry into CTVA systems (Portfolio Navigator). Success in this role enables flawless launch, maturity value achievement and improved consistency/effectiveness in signature process deliverables across U.S. Crop Protection.

Responsibilities:

  • Solely focused on pre launch activities and launch enablement/readiness for programs within assigned portfolio(s)
  • Accountable for initial entry and annual updates to programs in portfolio navigator
  • Coordinate across specific portfolios to document and ensure all appropriate launch stage gates are achieved
  • Actively leverages work from other LPCTs/historic launches to drive consistency, leverageable tools/content and improved launch competency
  • Aid in definition and documentation of program assumptions to reduce year over year variation
  • Enable consistent process for US Crop Protection program management
  • Aid in creation/updating of all core program management commercial documents: Makers/Breakers, case assumptions, case executive summary
  • Complete annual updates in Portfolio Navigator for accountable portfolios
  • Aid in development and execution of commercial launch plans – coordination with PMLs/PM and US Launch Specialist
  • Active participant on local product concept team(s)
  • Ensures a common approach to assumptions occur from a business case development year to year
  • Serve as an additional resource to perform case evaluation, modeling, and business updates
  • Coordinate quarterly launch review sessions with US commercial leadership (CP strategy team and appropriate platform leadership)

Qualifications


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Ag-business, Ag-economics, Marketing, Agronomy or related
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or sales management
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with managing large, diverse product portfolio
  • Data analysis experience
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
