Trinity Metro has an immediate opening for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to coordinate and oversee day-to-day sales activities for the EASYRIDE program for area organizations along with positively sustaining mutually beneficial relationships necessary to complete Trinity Metro’s mission. Incumbent in this position will manage the business-to-business sales to ensure Trinity Metro develops strong relationships with community organizations, the business community and various partners and groups.

The ideal candidate is forward thinking, analytical and a go-getter. The position is directly responsible for the EASYRIDE program, which is designed for organizations that choose to provide transit benefits to their employees, contractors, clients or visitors/guests. The incumbent will perform under the direction of the Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

This position’s responsibilities include:

  • Scans the community and local business environment to understand needs, and then develops agreements as necessary to grow and expand the EASYRIDE program, ensuring cultivation of accounts. Works closely with businesses and organizations and generates new and innovative ideas on how to accomplish strategic goals.
  • Develops, implements and manages the agency’s strategic partnerships business relations plan to meet measureable objectives for the program.
  • Responsible for growing sales of the EASYRIDE program and maintaining the EASYRIDE database. Reports metrics and analytics on sales and participation in the program to both the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and the Trinity Metro Board of Directors.
  • Executes outreach to create a consistent stream of leads and to generate awareness of Trinity Metro’s mission through various channels, including representing the agency at job/health fairs, community events, networking events, and ride-alongs. Additionally, this role ensures appropriate presentations, including Operation Lifesaver rail safety messaging, are delivered in the community to further Trinity Metro’s mission.
  • Supervises the Strategic Partnership Representative.
  • Coordinates with the Marketing and Communications Department and the Customer Care Department to implement programs and presentations, including, but not limited to: EASYRIDE program, transportation fairs and Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program.
  • Promotes and markets the EASYRIDE program by making business and civic presentations about EASYRIDE, and, in conjunction with Marketing and Communications Department, overseeing development of EASYRIDE collateral, including designs and proofreading. Is responsible for monthly metrics/analytical reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Handles agreements and coordinates program needs with the Accounting and Marketing and Communications departments.
  • In coordination with the Communications Department, strategically manages articles for newsletters and information sheets for open enrollment opportunities to inform employers about the EASYRIDE program and special events.
  • Acts as agency representative for various events to raise awareness and influence participation in EASYRIDE.
  • Participates in Trinity Metro’s activities to promote transit, which may occur during off-duty hours.
  • Manages budget and ensures collateral and promotional items are maintained appropriately for events.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Generally is responsible for being a Trinity Metro ambassador, providing information on how to relieve community parking problems, reduce traffic congestion, impact of single occupancy vehicles in our community and resultant air pollution. Knowledgeable of general parking costs, individual parking space costs and parking garage building costs for businesses located near transit.
  • Attends civic functions and after-hours programs as needed.
  • Researches ongoing issues and components of EASYRIDE programs, including governmental aspects and nationwide programs.
  • Other duties assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Eight or more years of experience in sales and marketing, including three years of management experience.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a closely related field.

Any combination of experience, training and/or education that provides the required knowledge, abilities, and skills may substitute for the required education.
