Portrait Pro Studio (Senior Division of School Portraits by Adams Photography) is now looking for new people to join our seasonal team!

This seasonal term will run from June through December of 2023.

Since 2016 Portrait Pro Studio has been providing memorable senior portrait sessions for students in Southern California. Our studio employees use a relational approach to create a unique experience for each student, ensuring the highest quality portraits are delivered for every customer. As a dedicated team of customer-oriented professionals, we take pride in our work and we are currently looking for more people to join our seasonal team!

Job Summary

The main responsibilities of the Senior Portrait Photographer/Stylist are to produce a successful photography experience for our student and parent customers. The Senior Portrait Photographer will be an expert at producing consistent, high quality photography while creating successful relationships with our customers.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Photograph students using trained styles and procedures
• Upload session images
• Complete photography paperwork to ensure a smooth flow in portrait processing
• Report any lack of functionality of all backgrounds and equipment to the Studio Manager
• Meet or exceed company photography quality expectations
• Attend Quality Assurance meetings as scheduled
• Keep studio and photography area clean by completing the opening and closing procedures as well as throughout the day
• Become completely familiar with and execute company posing and grooming procedure
• Assist with senior photography for students using trained styles and procedures
• Check weekly schedule for job assignments and other pertinent information
• Become completely familiar with company photography equipment
• Greet students and family in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Set up equipment to prepare for the day's sessions
• Understanding of how to maintain a steady, efficient workflow
• Contribute to a positive and enthusiastic work environment
• Support and adhere to the uniform dress code, systems and procedures, as well as the company Conduct Code, as prescribed in the Employee Guidelines Handbook

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability and willingness to be trained
• Ability to build very fast rapport with people
• Practical: able to set up and teardown camera stations, operate simple mechanical devices (tripods, stands, etc.)
• Takes great care of equipment
• Willing and able to work as part of a team
• Regular and punctual attendance

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Has current intermediate computer skills
• 2 years of Photography experience required
• Understanding of Studio lighting a plus
