Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Subcontract Manager who will telecommute/work remotely and report to the Procurement Sr. Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the overall subcontract management activities associated with suppliers in support of the Energetics Procurement Department, which manages the following technologies: Warheads, Radar Electronics, Batteries, Fuses, Pyros, Composites, and Containers. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
• Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements
• Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
• Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects
• Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Primary capabilities in subcontract management such as the following will be needed:
• Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ
• Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
• Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
• Perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems
• Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier facilities as deemed necessary and appropriate to conduct business - Typical travel may be monthly or quarterly
• The position is Fully Remote.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

• Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or STEM field
• Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance
• Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria
• Experience in placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
• Ability to understand technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
• Ability to process information and manage multiple conflicting priorities to drive to successful outcome (i.e., multi-task)
• Experienced in contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
