Full-time (plus benefits) position open for Substance Use Disorder Technician (SUD Tech) at Operation PAR's New Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program in Inverness, Florida. MAPS provides quality non-residential opioid maintenance therapy to eligible persons who suffer from the effects of opioid dependence. Operation PAR, Inc. is a nonprofit organization.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position coordinates care in a fast-paced, out-patient substance use disorder treatment setting. Tasks include (though are not limited to):

· Checking in patients

· Answering phones

· Distributing faxes

· Facilitating food & drink sales

· Verifying insurance/grant eligibility

· Reviewing financial documents with patients

· Accepting payments for treatment fees

· Bank deposits

· Administering drug screens

· Documentation

SCHEDULE :

• Monday 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 hrs)
• Tuesday 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 hrs)
• Wednesday - 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 hrs)
• Thursday - 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 hrs)
• Friday 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM (8 hrs)

Saturday Coverage on a rotating basis:

• Saturday 5:30 am to 10:30 am (5 hrs)

COMPENSATION: $15.00/hour

BENEFITS:

· PTO initially accrues at a rate of ~2.3 hours per 40-hour work week, which adds up to 15x 8-hour days per year (3 weeks/year). PTO accrual increases to 4 weeks/year after 2 years of full-time employment and increases again to 5 weeks/year after 5 years.

· 401k matching (50% up to maximum of 6% employee contribution) available after 1 year of full-time employment.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Must pass background and fingerprinting checks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to manage time and resources
• Ability to speak coherently and convey concepts
• Computer proficiency required (must be able to type at least 55 WPM).

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to write accurately and legibly
• Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach
• Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
• Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
• Good hearing and vision
