Summer Camp Counselor Job at Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA
The Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA is looking for Summer Camp Counselors to provide a memorable camp experience for girls at our Girl Scout Camp properties in the summer of 2023. The main base will be at Camp Small Valley in Halifax, PA, just north of Harrisburg, with potential activities at our other camps, located near Lancaster, Gettysburg, and Scranton.
We have multiple openings for the following:
- Unit Leader
- Assistant Unit Leader (specializing in Trips, Lifeguard, Adventure, or overseeing our Counselors-in-Training)
- Activity Leader (specializing in Adventure, Arts & Crafts, Outdoor Living Skills, STEM, Lifeguard, and Archery)
- Junior Counselors (under 18 only)
Our camp counselors will live on-site at Camp Small Valley, with lodging and meals provided. Some staff may be assigned to help with a program at another c& in these cases, we will provide travel arrangements and meals.

PA Clearances to work with children are required. Please note some positions have age and/or gender requirements (due to working with girls in a residential setting).
