Summer Camp Office Staff Job Summary:

Spend an incredible summer working with kids at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness and culinary arts! We are located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA and have campers ages 7-17.

We are looking for an office staff member to join our team from June 13 – August 9, 2023, and live on-site at our camp in the Pocono Mountains! Longer contracts from May 30 until August 28th are available. There is some flexibility in the start date for full time school office workers.

Summer Camp Office Staff Responsibilities"

• Report to the Operations Director and assist as needed with administrative duties.
• Answer phones, address parent concerns (with a focus on an exceedingly high level of service) from start to finish, and assist with other office tasks.
• Keep an upbeat, positive attitude and leave every parent with a smile on their face following any interaction.
• Maintain high levels of organization and cleanliness of office.
• Gain a working knowledge of CampMinder, our camp management system, and address a variety of parent requests relating to CampMinder (form uploads, transportation changes, etc.).
• Coordinate pick-up and distribution of mail and CampMinder emails every day.
• Use camp car to run local errands as needed, i.e. to the pharmacy, to pick up mail, to drive campers to doctor’s appointments in the local area.

Summer Camp Office Staff Requirements:

• Work from June 13th to August 8th and live onsite at our camp in Northeastern, PA - longer assignments available.
• Enthusiastic, motivated attitude
• Passion for summer camp and working with kids
• Must have prior office or administrative experience
• Ability to multitask and maintain a calm and friendly demeanor
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to use multiple applications in Microsoft Office and ability to learn camp database program
• Clean driver’s license
