We are currently seeking a Sunrise Clinical Manager Clinical Informaticist to join our team in Los Angeles, California (US-CA), United States (US).
As a Clinical Informaticist, you will use your knowledge, experience, critical thinking, and leadership skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to promoting quality care. You’ll be onsite at Customers Hospital in Los Angeles to work with key stakeholders to evaluate, plan, develop, and implement new features, and functionality of our healthcare information systems. You will also support end users by providing training for new hires and existing staff.
Day to Day job Duties:
- Operate alongside the Member Care Team framework, being a key contributor to the overall goals of the team support model
- Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure understanding of the system through hands on training
- Document build specifications, team processes and complex clinic workflows
- QA complex builds.
- Collaborate with members from other teams to address integration issues
- Provide elbow support to clinic staff as needed
- Lead trainings and workgroups for team members
- Mentor, coach, and train less experienced analysts
- Develop and share workflow best practices
- Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities
- Build, design, test and document functionality of new system features
- Provide process improvements within your application or team
- Analyze and plan implementations of new SCM functionality
- Provide oversight and management of assigned projects from beginning to end of implementation
- Provide training for new hires and existing staff
- Perform technical review of new optimization requests and upgrade functionality to assess workflow impact
- Collaborate with SCM dedicated vendors and teams to research and resolve issues
- Remain proficient in company specific applications supported by the Clinical Informatics Department
- Provide support to inpatient clinic staff with the potential need for after-hours/ on-call support
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in project implementation and/or support
- 5+ years’ experience in HealthCare IT
- Strong IT, clinical, provider technical Implementation/Support experience
- Must have Sunrise Application Experience
- Experience building and supporting Patient Care applications
- Strong Knowledge of Sunrise build tools
- Strong leadership skills to be able to lead a support team
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with customers
Travel:
This position requires someone available to travel up to 10%.
Degree:
Bachelors in Science or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have:
- Project lead experience
- Microsoft Skills
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Allscripts Sunrise Clinical application experience
