Summary

The Supply Chain/ Inventory Analyst will support Nexus through timely production order processing and leading inventory control best practices. This role will provide documentation and ERP support for shipping and receiving raw materials, components, samples and finished products as planned according to internal and external requirements. The analyst role will ensure that all pertinent ERP data related production control is complete and accurate to support the timely release of materials and products.

This role will actively support materials management, QA, and the warehouse team to ensure that all direct and indirect materials are readily available for the manufacturing site. The Supply Chain/ Inventory Analyst will work with finance to ensure inventory transactions against purchase orders are correct and physical inventory accurate.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross functional to meet supply chain objectives such as inventory entitlement, real time inventory transactions and accurate inventory control
  • Input and maintenance of master data using the change control process which includes new item creation, supplier item setup, manufactured item product structures, and operation routing structure
  • Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing to set order policies, picking policies, safety stock levels, and reorder points
  • Perform deadstock analysis and assist with removing items from inventory and inactivating items as needed
  • Assist operations, manufacturing, warehouse, and finance with inventory transactions including inventory transfers, PO receipts, and production order activities
  • Perform inventory transaction history analysis, report generation and present data to applicable audiences
  • Execute and support cycle count of physical inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts within ERP system for Nexus and CMO inventory
  • Support year-end inventory reconciliation by entering inventory adjustments in ERP system for CMO inventory
  • Partner with QA to ensure timely release of materials to support manufacturing
  • Monitor retest dates and upcoming expiration of material
  • Support the timely release of production orders for manufacturing and packaging
  • Support reconciliation for production orders completed at Nexus and CMO’s
  • Analyze production order cost reports and provide process improvement guidance based on data
  • Support the timely closure of production orders
  • Update legacy items within ERP system to align with current naming convention per Nexus SOPs

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, team and project skills
  • Strong knowledge of inventory analysis including transaction types and inventory movements within an ERP system
  • Strong computer and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing team environment; ability to prioritize and work within tight time frames
  • Ability to facilitate inventory related discussions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in operating in an ERP and MRP system, preferably QAD
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in pharmaceuticals
  • Exposure to inventory control process improvement
  • Experience with managing production orders

Travel Requirements:

  • 5% travel between Nexus locations is required for this role

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and talking on the phone
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises

Pay: $78,113.00 - $81,881.00 per year
