$30 - $35 an hour
- Work to identify qualified suppliers for aerospace component quote packages, for both parts and MRO
- Review supplier quotations and evaluate for cost, lead time, and prior performance
- Follow standard work to place POs with suppliers in SAP
- Monitor and track commitment dates, supplier progress, action items, and shipments
- Assist in generating status reports and sitting in on status meetings to update internal and external customer stakeholders
- Identify and understand supplier delivery risks and be empowered to generate mitigation plans
Qualifications Basic
- Bachelor’s degree
- minimum of 2 years of SAP purchasing experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wichita, KS: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
