Surface Grinder (ISO 9001)

Cavaform International, LLC is immediately hiring an experienced Surface Grinder.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in tight-tolerance plastic injection mold manufacturing.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Diploma from technical/trade school or 5 years grinding-experience working equivalent.

· Must have your own set of personal tools (Height stands, Indicators, Micrometers, and Calipers) and must be competent in reading a blueprint.

· Must be comfortable holding tight-tolerances

· Must be able to inspect own work with a strong aptitude to troubleshoot

· Must have basic comprehension of DedTru operations

· Capable of form-dressing and grinding a plus

· At a minimum, a High School diploma or GED EQUIVALENT

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must be able to stand for several hours comfortably

· Must be comfortable with reading advanced blueprints with strong math capabilities

· Machining parts with proficiency while holding tight-tolerances

· You will inspect your work and document findings onto proper inspection reports

· Competent of performing ball drops, roll dimensions and over/under inspections. Capable of setting up square check, angle plates and sine plates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
