Our Established Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and professional Oral Surgical Assistant as part of the care giving team. Our beautiful and well-established practice is committed to providing excellent patient care and is looking for someone who shares this same work philosophy.

Our friendly and motivated team is seeking someone who is amiable, intelligent and has attention to detail. This person should be friendly, reliable and flexible. Individual must be a hard worker, dependable, and present him or herself as a helpful and positive personality!

• Current DA/ RDA license and/or previous oral or perio surgery experience a plus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in surgical and sterilization procedures, both local and IV sedation
• Tray set-ups
• Professionally greet patients, do initial patient assessments and review medical history.
• Assisting in consultations with doctors taking notes
• Provide Post Op care instructions in a clear and thorough manner
• Taking x-rays and Panorex CBCT, and dental impressions as needed.
• Maintaining operatories, sterilization areas, and surgical equipment maintained and well stocked disposables.

Requirements and Must have:

• Hep B vaccination and Tetanus vaccination
• CPR certified
• Xray License
• RDA / DA License and or OSA certification if you have one.

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
