Surgical Scrub Technician– Per Diem

Boston IVF currently has a position available at Boston IVF’s NEW Providence, RI Center for a Per Diem Surgical Scrub Tech. 4 - 5 days - One (1) week per month - Occasional Saturdays

Flu Vaccinations are a requirement of employment.

Job Summary:

The surgical scrub tech provides scrub assistance to the surgical team under direct supervision of the circulating RN.

Key Responsibilities:

* Obtains instruments needed for surgical procedures

* Prepares/cleans instruments for decontamination and sterilization

* Operates/cleans electrical equipment ensuring it is functioning according to guidelines

* Applies principles of aseptic technique in establishing and maintaining a sterile field

* Manages surgical suite stock with supplies and equipment

Requirements:

* Surgical technician experience required

* Graduate of a surgical technician program required

* Ability to perform in a team environment

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
