POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Scrub Technician is responsible for providing surgical scrub assistance for all types of minor and major surgical and non-surgical procedures dependent on individual experience.
Medical City Alliance is a full-service, 99-bed acute care facility with a Level III Trauma Center and Women's Services unit boasting a state-accredited Level III NICU. Medical City Alliance proudly serves north Fort Worth, Keller, Roanoke, Haslet, Saginaw and surrounding communities in northern Tarrant and southern Denton Counties. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Skills
Certified as a surgical scrub tech by accredited program.
Experience
Graduation from an accredited program for Surgical Technology or meets the requirements of the HB 643 Act. One year prior experience as a Surgical Technologist
Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications
Current certificate from an accredited Surgical Scrub Tech program to practice in the State of Texas;
BLS from an HCA approved vendor.
