CAP is excited to announce that we are currently hiring an experienced Clinical Supervisor forSW Washington Behavioral Health. The Clinical Supervisor leads and supports the Behavioral Health Program in SW Washington in a manner consistent with the agency’s mission, equity statement, strategic plan, and budget. The Clinical Supervisor is integral in developing and expanding the new SW Washington Behavioral Health program.
This position works to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care is delivered to the patient population in SW Washington through oversight of the Behavioral Health team, creating policies and procedures for the program, and implementing quality assurance measures in conjunction with the Director of SW Washington Services and SW Washington clinic staff, as well as the Director of Behavioral Health at Prism. The Clinical Supervisor is also occasionally responsible for providing comprehensive, client focused mental health assessment and treatment utilizing individual, group, and family modalities to LGBTQ+ clients; people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS; and the community at large in Clark County and the surrounding SW Washington service areas.
This is a full-time position which reports to the Director of SW Washington Services and will work closely with Prism Health’s Director of Behavioral Health. This individual will work at CAP’s Behavioral Health office in Vancouver, Washington Travel throughout the county as well as evening and weekend work are occasionally required.
COMPENSATION: $90,000, exempt

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Doctorate in Social Work, Doctorate in Psychology or related field from an accredited school
· Two (2) years or more experience in providing behavioral health services and two (2) years or more experience in management and staff supervision
· Strong understanding of issues of particularly relevant to LGBTQ+ people
· Demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in workplace or community settings
· Sensitivity to, interest in, and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, chemical dependency, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community
· Experience working in an electronic medical record
· Exemplary customer service as well as written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical, counseling, and rehabilitation or health psychology
· Knowledge of community resources and referral agencies
· Knowledge of group dynamics
· Skill in interviewing and communicating to elicit information and cooperation from patients
· Ability to evaluate, diagnose, treat, patients in an outpatient setting as well as triage high acuity patients for possible involuntary hospitalization
· Ability to engage in equity and inclusion initiatives and discussions in the workplace, including but not limited to engaging in workshops, team and department meetings, and critical discussions for how CAP can better support the communities we serve
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in behavioral health program development and progressive management
· Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred
· Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) certification in the State of Washington
· Experience working with patients of all ages (pediatric to geriatric)
· Experience working with people living with HIV/AIDS and/or knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention issues
· Experience working with hard-to-reach communities (rural areas, high risk populations, etc.)
· Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships across a multicultural spectrum of organizations and professionals
· Previous experience with development and oversight of policies and procedures, preferably in a clinical or medical setting
· Willingness to accommodate provider services outside the normal business hours
