About us

North Seattle Swim School is a family-owned swim school in Lake Forest Park (just a few minutes north of Seattle). We offer private lessons to help students of all ages and abilities learn to love swimming and meet whatever goals they have in the water.

We are looking for experienced swim Instructors to join our new swim school in Lake Forest Park, WA (just north of Seattle). The Lead/Senior Swim Instructor will be responsible for teaching swim lessons, developing and implementing lesson plans, and creating a safe and fun learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a swim instructor (5+ for Lead Instructor), be CPR and lifeguard certified, and have a passion for working with children and swimmers of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to students of all ages and abilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Maintain and update swim equipment
• Assist with pool maintenance
• Communicate with parents and guardians
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a swim instructor
• CPR and lifeguard certified (or ability to get certified prior to starting)
• Passion for working with children and swimmers of all abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must pass drug test and background check
