Summary:
The SCCM Administrator will design and maintain all aspects of the Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager which includes Server infrastructure, administrator console, software/hardware inventory, software distribution, patching, imaging, reporting, health monitoring and alerting.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Monitor Microsoft SCCM Platform health and mitigate identified problems.
- Monitor Microsoft and other critical security software patches and updates.
- Responsible for working with multiple teams to remotely deliver upgrades, updates, patches, & deployment of new applications.
- Ability to add/remove/change programs available in SCCM Application Catalog.
- Participate and oversee the building and maintenance of desktop images, assisting in the production and employment of Group Policy Objects to manage the environment.
- Perform, test, and oversee upgrades to new versions of SCCM as needed and/or required.
- Provide knowledge transfer to ensure other department associates are trained on all functions of SCCM.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to add/remove/change programs available in SCCM Application Catalog.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant technical work experience required.
The salary range for this position is $109,972.50-110,000.00 Annually.
