We’re looking for an amazing Systems Analyst to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for recommending technical solutions that align with our business goals and direction. This position is also involved in the tactical execution of system enhancements and elevated support cases. Participation in the prioritization of product backlog to align our activities with business needs, as well as leading grooming, and planning exercises is also in the scope of this position. They will also share in weekend and overnight on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to business teams using digital systems and related interfacing applications
• Assists with high level application support and analysis for production systems
• Review applications onboard ships and make recommendations for higher efficiency and productivity
• Lead releases, upgrades, and implementations
• Coordinate system testing, and quality assurance activities
• Lead deep dive sessions to shadow business processes, elicit requirements, define exceptions, and identify pain points
• Participate in cross brand team meetings related to hotel applications, shipboard systems, and enterprise planning.
• Development / management of Support documentation and related processes / repositories

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent IT and business operations experience
• Experience in successfully bringing new products and services (customer and employee facing) to market
• Tactical experience with application upgrades and\or system migrations
• 3+ years of developing functional specifications documents and managing solutions delivery
• Experience successfully executing a product road map and managing product backlog
• Experience as an IT product owner
• Experience with enterprise property management systems - preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of system integrations using API’s and/or Webservices
• Experience writing SQL queries and comfortable working with databases - preferred but not required
• Experience working with servers, mobile devices, and PC’s
• Experience working in agile environment
• Maintain effective relationships with user department personnel and vendor development personnel
• Ability to organize work and incorporate multiple teams that cross technical and business disciplines
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

• Base Salary Range: $78,200.00 to $105,600.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
