Wild Leap Craft Beverages in Atlanta, is seeking enthusiastic, passionate and customer service-focused Bartenders to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of and a thirst for continued knowledge of the beer making process, Georgia and American beer culture, beer styles and history, and Wild Leap brands. Bartenders are responsible for providing tap room guests with exceptional customer service, thorough and accurate information on Wild Leap brands, and an engaging, unique experience at all times when serving guests.

COMPENSATION

• $5.50/hour + tips (Average - $30-$45/hour)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Serving Wild Leap beer, cocktails and food in a fashion that communicates the brewery’s passion for quality, innovation and customer service at all times
• Explaining Wild Leap’s brands in an accessible, engaging way to guests both familiar and new to the brewery’s brands.
• Pouring cocktails, pints, samples, and flights for guests while ensuring no guest is over-served
• Checking IDs for all guests who appear to be under 40 years old
• Controlling inventory by properly using POS software
• Ensuring cleanliness of all bar surfaces, tables, floors, restrooms, and all other Tap Room areas with great attention to detail
• Collecting, cleaning, and restocking of glassware
• Changing kegs and maintenance and cleanliness of draft beer system
• Maintaining an accurate, thorough, and working knowledge about our products and our company that will be used to engage our guests
• Opening and closing the Tap Room by following written protocol and checklists
• Handling cash and credit card transactions in a responsible and accurate fashion at all times
• Reconciling a cash bank at the end of each shift and ensuring that all transactions were recorded accurately
• Reporting any issues, concerns, or pertinent items to Manager on Duty
• Communicating clearly and demonstrating willingness to help all team members
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Minimum two years bar or restaurant experience required
• Able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
• Able to lift and carry 40 pounds and move 165 pound kegs
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods
• Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, and reach
• Must be at least 21 years of age

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

• Cicerone Certified Beer Server® required within 90 days of hire
