WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Tax Analyst should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be focused, energetic with an ability to deliver results under tight deadlines. The successful candidate is expected to develop relationships with all levels of staff within the Finance Department and will have lots of exposure to the Vice President, Tax.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support preparation of federal, state and local income & franchise tax returns, estimated payments and extensions (or support preparation by external consultants).
• Support annual and quarterly income tax provisions.
• Assist with coordination, monitoring, and review of international compliance.
• Support indirect and non-income tax filings to include sales and use, VAT, GST, business license and property tax returns.
• Analyze and reconcile data to support tax compliance.
• Prepare workpapers for various tax calculations, and support accruals and reconciliations for various tax accounts.
• Assist the Tax Team in collecting and maintaining documentation or data necessary for tax audits.
• Investigate tax notices and prepare response letters.
• Assist with internal and external tax-related requests.
• Maintain and organize tax documents and calendars to ensure compliance with tax authorities and other regulatory agencies.
• Assist in tax research using Bloomberg Tax or Checkpoint software.
• Other projects/assignments, as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and multiple-task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Experience with NetSuite and tax software (Onesource, Avalara).
• Focused, motivated self-starter.
• 2+ years corporate income tax experience.
• Must be deadline-driven team player.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the Tax Team
