Responsibility:
Tax Seniors direct and prepare various types of tax returns and perform tax-related services for clients.
Tax Seniors identify basic tax problems, research tax issues, and correspond with the IRS. Tax Seniors analyze and summarize tax information into workpapers.
Plan and review all tax matters generated from the clients.
Perform research as required.
Prepare tax returns and memos that relate to tax issues as required.
Complete assigned work accurately and timely as set in planning meeting.
Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client's business that extends beyond accounting- related aspects.
Become a contact for client questions.
Identify issues and recommend creative solutions to complex client issues.
Pro-actively champion an attitude of quality service.
Complete assigned work accurately and timely as determined by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in area of specialization required.
Master's Degree in Accounting or completion of 5th year requirements to complete eligibility to sit for the CPA certification required.
State of Texas CPA license is preferred, not required.
Minimum two years of public accounting experience.
