Otter Valley is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative part time Drivers Education Teacher teacher to fill a vacancy in the 2023-2024 school year.Job ResponsibilitiesAll Otter Valley teachers are expected to: implement standards-aligned units of study and engaging lessonsuse content-specific pedagogical techniques to engage learnersuse assessment to inform instruction throughout the learning processcreate positive classroom cultures focused on relationships, inclusive practices, and reciprocal trustcollaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and ensure support is in place for all students.Specific responsibilities for this position include: Possess knowledge of the Risk Prevention Curriculum Guide to Drivers Education as implemented by the Vermont Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (VDTSEA)Willingness or experience in working with younger high school studentsStrong communication skills.
