Team Lead (Starting pay is $22.35 + shift premium)

The responsibilities of the Team Leader will be to direct and lead the employees towards a quality product, in an efficient manner while following Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor employees to verify they are following Tim Horton's Roastery Policies and procedures including (GMP, Safety, Operational)
• Address issues with employees as needed and communicate to management
• Establish an open door communication policy with the team to enable a fast solution to any problem or concern.
• Motivate the team to perform and to efficiently produce a quality product
• Direct the team through production issues and concerns
• Lead by example
• Complete all assigned production requirements for the shift
• Assure that the equipment and job site are clean and orderly manner at the end of the shift.
• Be respectful to employees concerns without personal judgment
• Fill in for coverage as needed in the production and roasting areas
• Document film usage
• Execute and modify weekly production schedules, as needed
• Monitor log books to verify all tasks are being completed properly and accurately
• Fully support First Time Quality

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in Food Manufacturing

Requirements

• Follow and understand Tim Hortons Roastery policies and Procedures,
• Communicate across shifts and departments on daily information
• Full knowledge of production flow rate with capabilities
• Strong knowledge of understanding BRC requirements within production and roasting
• Ability to assist in other departments
