Position Summary:

CORSAIR is seeking a highly motivated Technical Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in Milpitas CA.

The successful candidate will be the family go-to guy for anything tech related and the person who are always able to give advice on what PC parts works best together. You can put together a PC blindfolded and knows where the PWR pins are on the JFP1 header and have used a screwdriver on these on more than one occasion.

You are able to quickly find out why your brand new rig randomly restarts, solve it and explain the issue either online via our communities, in person, or via a detailed report. To you a motherboard is not just a motherboard and you like to pick out each individual component that goes into your PC so it best fits your specific needs.

This position is full time in-office at our location in Milpitas, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and troubleshoot systems used for photoshoots, events, and product testing, ensuring all hardware and software are up-to-date and working efficiently.
• Engage with end users via our social platforms and collect data on trending issues and help guiding end-users towards solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and sales teams to create compelling content and campaigns that effectively highlights the benefits and features of our products.
• Provide easy to digest reports detailing findings and suggestions during product testing.
• Provide support to the marketing team with any ad hoc requests, such as setting up new software or equipment or giving advice on how to best show off our products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights and knowledge with the marketing team.
• Travel to events and tradeshows (as needed) to support the marketing team with technical expertise and product setup/demonstrations.
• Assist with educating our in-house sales and marketing staff on upcoming products, ensuring they have the technical knowledge necessary to effectively promote and sell our products.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience building and troubleshooting PCs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a technical mindset.
• Creative mind with the ability to think outside of the box and produce interesting solutions that go beyond just “building another PC."
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Annual Salary Range $65,000—$90,000 USD
