Objective of this role:
Review medical records and create a demand package to obtain the maximum compensation for injured clients.
Job Duties include:
- Enters and confirms medical bills related to accident in client relationship management system (CRM)
- Changes status of case files in CRM as appropriate
- Drafts and sends all demand packages for all personal injury cases (mail, fax, email)
- Communicates with attorneys regarding demand package review and revision
- Creates medical benefit pay demand packages and sends them to medpay adjusters
- Follows-up with adjusters to confirm receipt of demand package
- Reviews medical records at attorney request (for cases not in need of demands)
- Creates medical chronologies for litigation cases as needed
- Assists with mass torts department medical records review
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or other writing related field
- 2 years experience with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred 1 year of prior professional writing experience
- Preferred 1 year in a personal injury law firm or medical office
- Preferred experience reading medical records
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadline requirements
- Ability to problem solve without supervision or guidance
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
- Able to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in all interactions
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail
- Able to type at least 65wpm
