SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Entry level position, working under the direct supervision of an experienced technician.

FUNCTIONS:

RSU (Roller Search Unit) Technician

Assist in build and repairing UX6, X-Fire, UX11, UX8 and 100KPH RSUs for existing and new vehicles.

Knowledge of hand tools

. Drilling of small components

. Breakdown of returning RSU wheels from field

. Parts washing / wire wheel

. Pressing of bearings, seals and shafts

. small mech assy and wiring

. Fluid production for inventory

. Quality testing of the RSU wheels

. Detail oriented a must

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED. Post-secondary education and/or technical trade certificate is an asset.
• Experience: One year experience in the function listed above.
• Skills/Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings. Proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
• Skills/Competencies: Communicate effectively; work in a team environment or independently when needed.

• Interacts with direct supervisor.
