Technician - Wafer Fabrication

We are currently in need of a Wafer Fabrication Technician to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of our business. The individual work primarily in a clean room environment on the deposition of thin film wafers. We are an established Westerville-based global leader in temperature and magnetic measurement instrumentation serving science and industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deposit thin film materials, lap and polish wafers
• Dice products using automated precision saw
• Pattern wafers using photolithography
• Prepare assemblies or sub-assemblies for release to either internal or external customers
• Complete documentation and quality records
• Control and segregate non-conforming product or materials
• Maintaining chemical inventory both physically and in ERP system, basic chemical handling

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• A 4-year bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences or 2+ years working in a lab or cleanroom setting and experience with lab safety and protocol, chemical handling, mechanical tools, electrical circuitry, and scientific machinery.
• Have a basic functional knowledge of:
  • Chemical handling
  • Electrical circuitry/multimeters
  • Mechanical hand tools
