As a
Territory Account Executive, you will play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our national transportation and warehouse solutions in Baltimore. This position will provide the right candidate a unique opportunity to perform in an Inside Sales capacity selling the XGS suite of services while also supporting customers and prospective customers in the field close to our Baltimore service center. We recently doubled our warehouse footprint in Baltimore and are looking to continue to grow in the market.

What you’ll be doing at XGS...
Expectation is for this role to perform the duties of an Inside Sales professional three days per week and then spend two days per week in the Baltimore territory visiting with customers and prospective customers.- Maintain a regional territory and book of customers to meet growth objectives within the account base.
- Uncover sales opportunities through outbound calls to both new and existing accounts.
- Develop and utilize sales strategies to draw in potential customers.
- Create business relationships with customers identifying their potential needs, interests, and viability to drive sales.
- Perform follow-up calls with customers who have expressed interest.
- Research accounts, identify key figures, and generate interest in XGS
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
What is XGS looking for?
A minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience is preferred.- Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience, strongly preferred.
- Logistics experience is strongly preferred.
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Team player mentality with a can-do attitude
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Computer literate w/ MS Office and CRM (HubSpot experience a plus)
- College degree preferred.
