Do you enjoy wine and music? We are looking for wine enthusiasts to join our summer Friday Night Music Series team as Company Store Cru Members. We are looking for new team members who can work Friday's from 4pm - 9pm through September 2023. This is a seasonal position that you may be invited back to work each year.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and help our vineyard guests
- Educate our guests on our products and history
- Engage guests and help answer questions
- Be passionate and excited about Westport Rivers portfolio of wines and happy to ensure a memorable experience for our guests
- Maintain property and bar cleanliness
- Collect names and email addresses for future contact
- Stock supplies, maintain displays in retail areas
- Perform sales transactions using POS system
- Pour wines by the glass for guests
Skills
- Strong professional customer service & hospitality skills
- Enthusiasm for wine in general and Westport Rivers and its products in particular
- Be able to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Excellent time management abilities
- Collaborate with your Cru Members and demonstrate flexibility to meet rapidly changing needs
- Enjoy working many roles including greeting, serving, stocking, operating a register, and other duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
