The current opportunity would work out of our corporate headquarters in Kentwood, MI, or our Sales Office in Davisburg, MI or remote work from home, as appropriate.
The Opportunity:
This position is for a multi-customer automotive OEM Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, depending on education and experience. The position does not involve direct management of people. In this role you will report to the senior level of the sales group and be responsible for managing and growing global customer accounts. The focus will be to interact with the customer and internal teams daily to provide timely closure to commercial requirements. By providing a premium level of service, we strengthen existing customer relationships and cultivate new partnerships to grow the business.
What you will be doing?
· Identify business opportunities and create a plan on how to best position Corvac Composites to capture those opportunities.
· Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customer contacts.
· Develop an account strategy to ensure profitable and competitive business awards.
· Communicate efficiently, balancing commercial and engineering interests.
· Manage commercial needs of the customer on a daily basis.
We’re looking for an Account Manager with:
· 3+ years experience working in automotive industry account management. Experience on a customer engineering or purchasing team or leading a Tier 1 sales account is a plus.
· Ability to promote new products, anticipate market trends, and provide early input to the Corvac Engineering Team on marketplace activities for Corvac to be prepared to meet our customers’ needs.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
· International mindset to address the needs of our multi-national customers.
