Fleet Maintenance Facility in Rogers, MN is looking for qualified truck and trailer Mechanics / technicians to work at a fleet repair shop located by Maple Grove / Rogers, MN, near the Cabela's along I-94. This Fortune 500 Fleet requires the best mechanics in the industry to provide maximum up time for their fleet of dry van package trailers, dollies and yard switchers. Applicant must be capable of making quality repairs to suspension, lighting /electrical system, air brake and ABS systems, trailer dollies and trailer body/structure and doors on trailer, dollies and yard switcher tractors. Tech will also perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet a of Yard Spotters with Cummins electronic diesel engines. The tech must also possess the skills to perform accurate and complete preventive maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance PM Services. Pay to match experience and monthly performance bonus.
Service Truck positions available
Training available on specific air and electronic systems. The technician must have a positive attitude, have strong communication skills, be able to multi-task, be able to work well with coworkers, have good computer skills and a strong desire to perform top level work day in and day out and conduct.

Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Commitment to Safety and Service Excellence.
  • Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections (DOT, PM)
  • Perform air brake diagnostics, repairs and inspections.
  • Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs utilizing laptop diagnostic system
  • Perform floor, roof, door and side panel repairs
  • Perform minor and major accident repairs
  • Perform electrical systems diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform air brake diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform wheel end repairs and adjustments
  • Perform aluminum and steel welding
  • Perform general repairs on trailer and trailer dollies
  • Perform PM maintenance accurately and efficiently
  • Perform PM maintenance and repairs on Yard Spotters (Ottawa)
  • Perform diagnostics on Cummins electronic engines with laptop
  • Responsible to adhere to all warranty policies and procedures
  • Ability to use electronic technical manuals and resources for diagnostics and repair
  • Provide accurate documentation on repair orders
