POSITION SUMMARY: : The IT Trainer position will primarily be responsible for the overall adoption, management, and development of the GrandPad technology program for Rocky Mountain Healthcare Services (RMHCS). The position ensures this technology is utilized to its fullest, both for participants and team members. This position also serves as a primary educator related to technology, in general, for both RMHCS team members and participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for GrandPad, including all device functions, capabilities and system data/reporting functions
  • Effectively educates/trains on GrandPad for both participants and team members, in both individual and group settings, both in person and remotely
  • Communicates well across a variety of ages, educational, and responsibility levels
  • Promotes existing and novel uses of GrandPad devices
  • Builds clinical/functional capabilities/use of GrandPad for RM PACE
  • Manage fleet of devices- inventory, distribution, collection, reallocation
  • Primary liaison with GrandPad personnel for data and inventory management, process improvement, roll out of new device capabilities
  • Produces useful reports for leadership and uses data to guide development of GrandPad program
  • Collaborates as needed on efforts to secure funding for the program
  • Effectively educates/trains team members and participants in technology resources (ie. Microsoft Office suite, MS Teams, cell phone technology and applications, etc.)
  • Will complete IT Administrative tasks such as all equipment ordering, phone bill reconciliation, assist with inventory, and other admin related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Formal post-secondary education in technology or related field preferred
  • Prior experience working with elderly population
  • Prior experience with technical education preferred
  • Excellent verbal and technical skills are required
  • Must be proficient in computer programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possesses valid drivers license and reliable transportation
