Job Description:

Our Supply Chain Practice provides business consulting, assessment and selection, project management, system design, implementation and integration support services. We focus on Transportation Management (TMS), Warehouse Management (WMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS), Supply Chain Event Management/Visibility (SCEM), and automated identification solutions. Position requires assisting manufacturing and distribution clients with requirements definition, design, and implementation of supply chain execution software.

• You enjoy traveling to client sites to gather detailed information about client information systems technology and business processes to support consultation and solution delivery support assignments.
• You possess knowledge of the configuration and integration of information technology and/or equipment in a distribution environment.
• Analyze client operations and gather data necessary for determining material handling operations and information systems processes to provide the most economical solutions.
• Coordinate and/or prepare clear, concise and accurate deliverables including: functional specifications for supply chain execution software systems, requests for proposals, contracting and related documents
• Review, evaluate and summarize vendor proposals for comparison purposes in order to make recommendations
• Assists in the development and delivery of user training programs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant TMS experience

• Working knowledge and industry experience with MercuryGate TMS, Blue Yonder, OTM, SAP TM, Shiptify, or other transportation management product suites. Knowledge of automated identification - barcoding, RFID, and EAS is a plus.
• Experienced with MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Visio (or other flow-charting software)
• Bachelor’s, or advanced Degree in IT, Computer Science, operations management, industrial engineering, or related field is strongly preferred.
