Sekani Logistics Inc. is seeking an energetic Account Specialist I to join our team.

Responsibilities and critical job functions include, but not limited to the following:

• Build and maintain strong carrier and understand market variables that effect can affect carrier capacity
• Track and trace shipments moving from origin location to delivery location while managing daily operational task and solving any driver issues
• Ensure all shipments are covered and dispatched, daily
• Dispatch drivers daily ensuring on time pick up and delivery
• Sending clear, concise, and accurate tracking updates to customers
• Negotiate rates with carriers maximizing profit potential
• Communicate pertinent information with office manager and ensure all carrier information is entered accurately in our system.
• Provide the highest levels of customer service to carriers and customer
• Ensure all shipments are closed out in an accurate and swift manner
• Resolve all carrier and customer issues

Customer Support Representative - Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

• Displays a strong will, commitment, and a positive attitude
• Displays a high level of professionalism at all times with carriers and customers
• Ability to manage a constantly changing workflow
• Efficient use of Microsoft Office, computer systems, and technologies associated with job functions
• Ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner via telephone and email.
• Efficient in time management and punctual
• High School Diploma or GED
• College Degree with a concentration in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing/Sales or related are preferred
• Experience in account management is preferred but not required
• Experience in transportation is preferred but not required

This is a 1099 employment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $575.00 per week
