The Trauma Therapist provides trauma healing services to patients at Sierra Tucson, specializing in EMDR and/ or Somatic Experiencing.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in a Counseling, Social Work or related field required
• EMDRIA approved Basic Training preferred
• Somatic training preferred
• Two years post Master’s Degree in the Behavioral Health field
• One year post EMDRIA Basic Training facilitating EMDR sessions preferred
• One year post Somatic training facilitating SE sessions preferred
• Experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses preferred

Your Skills:

• Knowledge of trauma-oriented psycho-dynamics
• General counseling skills
• Ability to facilitate individual therapy
• Medical record documentation
• Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team context
• Ability to work with a wide range of diagnoses and behaviors
• Multi-cultural sensitivity
• Excellent time-management skills
• Providing didactic lecture material
• Knowledge of the 12-Steps preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Certification and/or licensure preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.47 per hour
