Truck Dispatcher Job at People Ready
We are looking for a dispatcher in our delivery department. The schedule would be Monday - Friday 11am to 8pm. The candidate would be talking/helping drivers , and answering the phone ( description below). Pay would be $23 an hour.
You will be responsible but not limited to:
Answer phone calls
- Assist drivers with delivery issues
- Give ETA’s
- Assist customer service with questions regarding routes
AS400
- Look up details on accounts
SharePoint
- Update and close runs
- Add drivers
- Put in refusals or reships
Handle phones and printers
- Work on broken phones or printers
Downtime
- Work on downtime every other week
Returns
- Helps drivers with any needs they may have coming back
