Job Overview:

We are currently looking for Truck Driver - CDL Local Delivery to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. Pay starts at $20 to $25 per hour, based on candidate qualifications and experience.

As a Truck Driver – CDL Local Delivery, you will:

This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness. Responsibilities of this position is to assure safe and timely deliveries of concrete and material to the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have a valid CDL-A or CDL-B
• Possess strong technical knowledge about the work mechanism, configuration and maintenance routine of the concrete pump.
• Willingness to work in flexible time schedules and in unfavorable conditions.
• Monitors and visually inspect mix for proper materials, verify load size to ticket, check for proper slump and adjust accordingly.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned, serviced and stored at the end of each shift.
• Ability to take instructions and perform tasks as per the construction plans.
• Dispose of excess concrete in environmentally safe manner.
• Monitors and visually inspect mix for proper materials, verify load size to ticket, check for proper slump and adjust accordingly.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Must have a valid CDL-A or CDL-B
• Completes Equipment Condition Report and reports any necessary repairs to supervisor and/or Maintenance Shop. Completes other required forms and turned in daily.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Adheres to all safety and company standards and rules to include hard hat and safety vest use as directed. Ensures all safety rules are adhered to by co-workers and customers, and reports any safety violations to supervisor.
