Job Title: Full Time Truck Driver/ General Laborer
Reports To: Shop Manager
Job Description: Truck Driver/ General Laborer is a key position in Adrian Mechanical to ensure the job foremen have everything they need on a daily basis. This position will require multiple parts, tools, and miscellaneous deliveries to job sites.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Assist with daily shop activities (maintenance, repairs, cleaning)
· Assist with vehicle fleet (maintenance, repairs, cleaning, delivery’s)
· Deliver parts and equipment to job sites at foremen requests
· Assist field foremen and journeymen on jobsites when needed.
· Assist with daily shop deliveries (incoming & outgoing)
· Accept deliveries and unload truck
· Ability to drive a fork truck, appropriate training and certifications will be provided
· Assist with general shop maintenance
· Trailer experience; towing and backing
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license
· Must pass a drug test before employment
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent communicational skills
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm
Benefits: Per the standard employee benefits package, including 401(k) plan (after one year employment), & company cellular phone stipend.
